You now have a few extra days to send in your audition video for Tulsa Sings! as the deadline has been extended to Monday, Oct. 10 at 5 p.m. The vocal talent competition embedded with Signature Symphony at TCC is searching for vocalists for the opportunity to work with New York City-based vocalist and concert performer, Scott Coulter, and perform on stage with the professional orchestra.

If you sing in the shower or in the car and think you deserve a better audience than your shampoo bottle or your kids, this is for you. Finalists will be selected during a callback process and will be part of the “Tulsa Sings! American Jukebox” concert on Saturday, April 8, 2023, celebrating the biggest American hits of the past half-century.

Scott Seaton, Signature Symphony artistic director, announced the extension in a video on social media, “I don’t want anyone to miss this opportunity. It is amazing and open to all those with some type of connection with Tulsa.”

Previous Tulsa Sings! finalists say the audition and selection process is a priceless experience for any performer. The competition provides valuable exposure to coaching and mentoring by Coulter. He works with each finalist to help elevate their performance. They learn valuable vocal techniques and artistic expression to help expand their performance range.

“Since we started the competition in 2018, Tulsa Sings! has become not only a great resource for recognizing and celebrating Tulsa talent but a wonderful way to grow the musical family of the Tulsa community,” said Coulter.
