The Signature Symphony’s 48th season blends traditions, masterworks, and modern scores to connect audiences across generations.
The Signature Symphony at TCC’s 2026-27 season, Just Vibin’, showcases the power of orchestral music to spark emotion and bring people together. The season begins in September and will include five concerts that create engaging musical experiences that connect audiences with the orchestra in new ways.
“With Just Vibin’, we’re really tapping into what the Signature Symphony experience has always been about. It’s not only about the music that’s played on stage — it’s about the atmosphere in the hall, the memories people make, and the emotions they carry home with them,” says Signature Symphony Artistic Director Scott Seaton. “As we built this season, we wanted every concert to have its own personality and sense of discovery, whether audiences are experiencing a beloved classic, a holiday tradition or something completely unexpected, like the combination of video game music and Bruckner. When people leave talking about how they felt, not just what they heard, we’ve done our job.”
The season opens on Sept. 19 with New World, New Voices, a program that explores American musical identity through works including Duke Ellington’s Three Black Kings. Other season highlights include January’s Bruckner and Video Game Soundscapes, which pairs the immersive music of Anton Bruckner with iconic video game music, as well as Carmina Burana in March that will feature one of the largest ensembles assembled on the Signature Symphony stage.
Returning audience favorites Christmas in Tulsa and Tulsa Sings! Totally 80s round out the season built around the belief that music connects across generations.
“The vibe of the season is powerful and fun. Epic and playful. It’s a great opportunity for families from different generations to experience something together,” says Katie Sawicki, Signature Symphony Director of Development and Operations. “It introduces younger audiences to orchestral music while giving older generations a chance to appreciate what their kids and grandkids are listening to.”
