Under direction of Dr.
Barry Epperley, the Signature Chorale appears regularly with
Signature Symphony at
TCC for both pops and classical concert performances at the
beautiful VanTrease Performing Arts Center for Education (PACE).
The 40-voice Chorale utilizes talented
Oklahoma
vocalists who enjoy the pursuit of artistic excellence in a variety of
styles, from classical masterworks and chamber music to vocal jazz, pops,
and gospel. Solo and small ensemble opportunities are offered throughout
the season.
Season performances for the
2008-09 include the Mozart Requiem, Carmina Burana,
our popular annual Signature Pops Christmas Concert and the
Signature Pops Movie Music Night. Other performances are
scheduled as opportunities are available. Rehearsals are on Tuesday
evenings from August through April.

choirs, barbershop choruses and classical choruses for more years than I'd
like to admit, I began singing with the Signature Chorale and found that it
takes the best of each of these types of music and mixes them with a little
pops & jazz, just for fun!
I've never enjoyed being associated with a musical
group more. . . especially when we have the added pleasure of being
accompanied by the AWESOME musicians of the Signature Symphony.
Just wish we could bottle it!"

Auditions for 2008-09
Auditions for the 2008-09 season will be held on June 12 and 19, 2008 at the TCC Southeast Campus.
Vocalists who wish to audition should prepare one or more selections that demonstrate range and, if appropriate, both classical and contemporary vocal styles.
All vocal backgrounds are welcome in the auditions, but singers with classical choir or vocal experience in addition to other styles will have the advantage. Members are selected based on individual voice quality, fluency in various musical styles, blending abilities, and desire to commit to a professional-level ensemble experience. Sight-reading will be required. An accompanist will be provided at all auditions. If you require a CD player for your selection, please advise when scheduling your audition slot.
